    Soldbuch Afrika-Italy Panzer Regiment 26 PKA25

One of my favourite groups, Leutnant Bert Badem, who could speak also English and Italian Fought in Afrika with Panzer Regimen 8(in a Panzer III?) of the 15.Panzer Division until 1942, then he fought in Sicily then Salerno Landing, then was placed in the Elba Island in Italy, Fought Partisans in northern Italy around Venice then joined the 26.Panzer Division as Platoon then Kompanie Commander with the 7./Pz.Rgt.26 (He was most likely in a Panzer IV) on the Gothic Line and fought until the end of the war going through the Venetian region before surrendering and being placed in the POW Camp in GHEDI.He was also Awarded DKiG(Entered in the Soldbuch) and Promoted to Oberleutnant(Also entered in the soldbuch) but these 2 were never made official.
In the Camp he got a nice Resume made and signed by Oberstleutnant Reinelt, the last Pz.Rgt.26 commander.

In the photos you can read better some parts of that Resume showing awards, places etc.... Notice the ITALIAN Sahariana Shirt customised with German Insignia including 2 Panzer Totenkopf on the collar and also the improvised PKA25 he received field made from a PKA in Bronze, kinda unique. When he received the PKA25 he was awarded of the wound badge in gold but received a Wound badge in black painted yellow GOLD
