Our man was born on March 28th, 1.920 in Vollnkirchen, he was single and a farmer. His father was Anton and his mother Luise.
He was registered in Wetzlar on August 1.939 and declared fit for the Ersatz Reserve I
He was exiled for the R.A.D. on September 13th, 1.940 by Meldeamt 244 in Wetzlar.
Not having to spend some time in the brown uniform means aq ucik induction in the Wehrmacht so he was enlisted on October 1st, declared fit on the 5th and took oath on the 16th, all by 2./Schtz.Ers.Batl. 1 Weimar.
With this unit he received his first training and then was transfer on November 11th, 1.940 to his combat unit.
He was marching from Weimar to East Prussia from November 20th till November 25th, upon his arrival he was with 6./Schtz.Rgt. 113.
He was only trained in the use of the backbone of the Wehrmacht, the Kar98k.
His service was short,
From October 20th, 1.940 till June 21st, 1.941 on the east area
From June 22nd till June 29th, 1.941 in Russia
His war service only lasted one week, on the 29th he was KIA by a head shot in Jakobstadt-Kreizburg, Lettland (now called Jëkabpils).
His life was cut short just when he started living, a fate shared with millions more, he was just 21 years old.
