Yes, ok originally formed as part of the pre war Reichswehr. This one dating from early wartime I'd say.

As you know.. Infanterie Regitment 57 and Infanterie-Ersatz-Bataillon 57 are not the same.

but Infanterie Regitment 57 - Für die Ersatzgestellung des Regiments war das Infanterie-Ersatz-Bataillon 57 zuständig. (Infanterie-Ersatz-Bataillon 57 was in charge of replacing for Infanterie Regitment 57)

So... I saw this it in website. kordel is leather!
