    Wehrpass Sachsenhausen ....

    I would like to show you my Sachsenhausen Wehrpass.
    The picture is very nice , an old guard as well.....he was over 50....

        Interesting. He did his whole time at Sachsenhausen.

          Signature on page 29 is SS-Sturmbannführer Gustav Wegner, commander of SS-Totenkopf-Wachbataillon Sachsenhausen. He was sentenced to 25 years prison in 1946 by the soviets.

              Interesting wehrpass.

              Seems to be a replacement book, but 100% pre '45 based on the handwriting style, etc. (certain idiosyncrasies in the handwriting match known pre '45 wehrpass from Sachsenhausen).

              The fact he is shown in an Oberscharfuhrer tunic, along with the entry on page 28 which is dated 1938 but stamped with "Waffen-SS" above the SS-Totenkopf Sturmbann stamp tend to support that it is a replacement book.
