Walter Schultz was born in 1902 in Magdeburg. He lived and worked in Wroclaw as Technical Director until he was drafted into the Wehrmacht on 30 August 1939 and the 2nd Company in Construction Battalion 107, where he remained until mid 1940, after which he was transferred to Army Propaganda Department B, later from about 1941 He then assigned to the Propaganda Department of Belgium. From 4.10.1944 he was transferred to the 2nd propaganda Einsatzzug (combat propaganda). He was awarded the KVK 2nd class on 20.4.1944.

Erected in 1942 with 4 companies as Mobile Department for direct missions and for propagandistic specialization.
1st war correspondent company: "Higher Reporters". Here, the Ministry of Propaganda collected specially selected journalists and writers who were used for special reports.
2. Combat propaganda company: Propaganda trains with speakers, leaflet balloons and propaganda creatures.
3rd Company: design and production of propaganda material (pamphlets, films, etc.)
4th Company: Propaganda Association Company.
With 2 permanently allocated Ju 52 and a comprehensive vehicle stock, the company maintained the courier and liaison service to the propaganda units used. The company transported the material of the war correspondents of all divisions from the front to Berlin, as well as propaganda material and equipment supply from Berlin to the front.
