Pz. Gren. Rgt. 28 - Battle for Budapest?

Hello together,

got a nice Soldbuch from a young soldier born in 1927.

Was in Fallschirmjäger A u e Rgt 3 and later sent to Pz Gren. Rgt. 28

Am I correct they fought at Budapest?

The Soldier got wounded on 14th March 1945 ....this was probaly in Mähren?


Is this correct about Budapest?

If i mean correctly they later joined the 8. Panzer division that was part of 6. Armee süd...... they fought at Budapest but only before "Siege of Budapest" i mean when the cauldron is closed they was not there......
