Can anyone please help with a couple of Unit entries please?
I am am interested in finding out the following...
What the unit is he served with from 01/07 /40 to 10/06/41?
What the entry is for 27/12/41 to01/02/42?
And does anyone have any information on Flak Komp 1558?

27/12/41 - 01/02/42: Lazarett (Hospital)

Is that Panzer Berge Komp 6 a Tank Recovery Company?

Yes,to Ian Thomson,I believe Panzer-Berge Komp 6 was a Tank recovery Company.
Does anyone know anything more about Panzer-Berge Komp 6 or the above units please?

Hi Lynton,

Because they are Companies it is difficult to find any information on them....unless there is a book on tank recovery units!?!

Battalion level and higher is easier to find but I will have a quick look to see if I have any info anywhere..............

Ian,that would be great if can find anything at all about them.
I did find that Kraftfahrerabteilung 17-5 Kompanie changed to Kraftfahrerabteiling 45-1 Kompanie 01/04/40.But would like to know what that St Porteu and the other hand written entry are relevant to?
