Weird ID - help with identification and originality

Hi, may I kindly ask you for help with originality of this Erkennungsmarke? Material seems to be original, but I'm not sure with the text. Also very uncommon bothside marking...
I bought it together with a few 100% original medals (maybe from soldier's inheritance?).
In case it's original, what would be the unit?
