Heeresflak in Poland, France, Russia and Italy - Salerno !

I got this nice Set from one Guy - a lot of Battle action in his Papers !
Started with Poland Campain - France - then Russia - Here - i think i dont go to Stalingrad - he was wound before - right ?
After Russia Action - he comes to Italy to the Heeresflak Abtl. VESUV - with the new formed Heeres Flak Abteilung 302 he got first battle action in Italy at the SALERNO Landing Sector - afte this - the complete Italy Campain from August 1943 to the End in Italy.

    He was earned:
    -Czech Campain Medal
-Wound Badge Black for wound in Russia
    -General Assualt Badge
    -Eastfrontmedal
-War Merrit Cross Second Class with swords in September 1944

All the Last time in the war he was a part of the AOK 10 in italy...!

I think its good to see the different Faces in his Picture in the Wehrpass dated 1936 and in his Soldbuch - i think in 1943 !

And iam Happy to have a complete Set Soldbuch - Wehrpass and the dog tag who is written in the ID´s

Wonderful to see Soldbuch and Wehrpass together, it gives you such amount of info to research the whole career of the soldier. I have a couple of groups like this and I always want more.

Please keep us update with your discoveries.

              Cheers

              Angel
Looking for DKiG Heer winner Soldbuch who also won the TDB and/or CCC, specially in Silver.

                            Hello !

Very nice group with the double of Soldbuch and Wehrpass. Also with the
                            award docs and photos !

Although his first unit is designated as MG-Btl. it was a Fla-Btl., equipped
with 2cm Flak(mot.Z.). These type of battalions where enlarged from 3 to 6 cos.
at the time of Mobiliziation (Sept. 39) and then each company was attached to a Pz.Abwehr-Kp.
of a first wave Inf.Div., in this case it was the 28. Inf.Div., under which he
saw action in Poland. After Poland, it became an independent Heerestruppe.

It would be interesting to see, what his Soldbuch says on his wounding, (same as
in WP or earlier ?), then I can try to find something in the divisional history.

                            Best regards,

                            Archi
