I am stuck on some more Wehrpass Entries and wondered if anyone could help please...

First is his Nationality..I know it says Deutches Reich..but what is the other word?It looks like 'Osten' but not sure on that.?
Second is his Religion?

When looking at entries it's far easier if the whole page is posted (to compare letter patterns) and they need to be much bigger...

Hi Lynton,

the first tell me that he was working as a "Anstreicher" ( a painter)

the sec small picture says:

Name of the father: Josef
his occupation: Kanalarbeiter (sewerage worker)
Name of the mother is: Röder

On this page I am looking at the Education Section first(it is that I hope?)
It says ' 5 Peoples' but what is the rest? Looks like 3... 3 something?
Also the Civilian Awards?Can anone help with the entries here please?
