    Help whit Kgf. (Stammlager) Ausweis

    I got these two war prisoners 'Ausweis'.Before I give up one,I would be interested for two-three small things.I do not know what the acronyms or letters mean:

    - M. - on Kgf.-M.-Stammlager IV F

    - IVB ..-on Nr 268408 IVB

    - Kdo. -on .....vom Arb.-Kdo.:...... Many thanks!

      " M " could be the abbreviation for "Männer"-Stammlager

      " Arb.-Kdo. " - Arbeits-Kommando

        " IV B " means your guy was part of the Kriegsgefangenen-Stammlager IV B

          M is short for Mannschafts<wbr>.

          In full Kriegsgefangenen-Mannschafts-<wbr>Stammlager.
