Got this small group today.
Early member of the SS VT, promoted to SS Scharführer.
Seems to have started his carreer in the SS VT with the:
SS Nachrichten Truppe der SS VT - MZ Kompanie - any idea what MZ would mean?
Later served in Russia with SS Division Reich. Late 1943 tranfered to the Hohenstaufen Division and stayed there at least until January 1945.
Not a highly decorated soldier, just an NCO doing his bit
3 awards listed:
October 1st 1938 medal
SS Long Service 4 years
Ostfront Medaille
As he seemed to have been serving with the Verpflegungskompanie, I'm not sure he did see much action, but I guess he must have been at Normandie and near Arnheim at some point?
As a small bonus the Soldbuch came with the SS Ahnenpass from his wife
