              Here is a close combat day entry for June 22, 1941 - Assault on Fort V of the Brest-Litovsk fortress. (Soldbuch, Pionier Bataillon 34)

                Very interesting to see that he wears his shoulderboards the other way around!
                I assume he does that to mask any unit numbers that are on it.
                I'm collecting anything related to the towns Castricum and Bakkum during WWII.
                Also soldbucher from 116pzdiv. And 1944-1945 eastfront pockets, kampfgruppe and Oder front.

                    Amazing nahktage entry Naxos!

                    I do not know where was the Fort V in the Cittadelle, I think in the sout west, in the Sector 34 ID Sector!
