    soldbuch 50 combat days

    I have here a soldbuch with 50 registered combat days, the last combat day was added on 8.1.1944. why does the soldier have no silver or gold ccc !?

      all combat days certified and stamped from leutnant and kompanie führer.

          Sometimes awards don't get entered into the Soldbuch. I have an example like this. My guy has the days and no Soldbuch entry, but I have his CCC award certificate.

              The reason could be they never counted for the CCC. I have a Soldbuch with 30 days listed, however it is actually mentioned later in red that none of the days counted towards the CCC. SO...he had to start again!!!

              These are all defensive positions near Stalingrad..

                I don't see a bronze CCC either... only the Panzerkampfabzeichen in bronze.

                Perhaps there was an added award page for the Close Combat Badges (22a) that got lost.

                    All 50 close combat locations check out for this soldier's unit - II. Batl. Panzergrenadier-Regiment 63 -

                    The Soldbuch is signed by his company commander, German Cross in gold recipient Oberleutnant Paul Brambrink (8.(s)/Pz.Gren.Rgt. 63)
