Soldbuch Pi.Btl.353 Normandy,KIA in Belgium Oct.1944

      Interesting how the family received the Soldbuch. Maybe that solves how some others ended up in the hands of family.

                Yes, interesting piece of history and nice presentation.
                As you wrote, the main fights of Pio. Batl. 353 in Normandy was the defense of La Haye-du-Puys. After six days of fights, the town was evacuated by the last defenders : they were only 70. This guy was one of them.
