12.VGD Hürtgendwald, Malmédy/Ardennen....

Here is a soldbook from a young soldier who come in september 44 to 12.VGD.

Directly in octobre he saw action in the hell of Hürtgenwald and after this in the ardennen battle especially in the district Malmédy.

There are no awards in, but its a interessting soldbook I think. A young boy saw a lot of the hell of war.

I find your Soldbuch interesting as well; the 12th Volks Grenadier, commanded by Hitler's former Adjutant Gerhard Engel, was largely responsible for stabilizing the front in the Aachen sector and was heavily involved in the battles along the Westwall and the Ardennes offensive.
