My Erkennungsmarke Collection for Review and Comment

I was at a small show this weekend and picked up 6 EKMs. Turns out 4 are bad, one good, and one I don't have any comments yet. This thread discusses the ones that are bad.

Let me say that there was no intent to cheat me. These came from a close friend. THose tags are all over 20 years old. At that time fakes were generally not seen as a big problem. Most of us routinely found them at flea markets, shows etc for 10-30 marks. No one checked fonts since wartime stamps popped up at shows etc. Of course by the 90s people were starting to figure out that the fakers were hard at work. However, if the unit designations were correct, the base discs were okay, and the aging looked okay no one checked further. Looks of people were looking at the wear on the holes.

Since we all prefer not to have fakes in our collection I figured I'd show my modest collection of tags for comment. Many of the tags Ive had for two decades (doesn't mean anything). However most appear to be okay. I annotated those I've acquired recently as such.

Thank you for looking and any comments are appreciate.

This first tag was also purchased this weekend. I posted it separately because the chain interested me. Heres the link.

The rest of the tags were purchased within the last two years. This first one is not stamped correctly IMHO. The Garrison Stamps usually read H. St. O. V. for Heer Standort Verwaltung. Female auxiliary's assigned to garrisons were issued the same type of disc as males. Gender was not specified.
