Yes, you have twice the Ostmedaille and in the middle the War Merit Cross 1st class with Swords, but this look a little bit odd, a close up of the I will help to see if tampered or just the picture, any other entry in the Soldbuch for medals?

Comes with the other citation for the War Merit Cross? My concern is the I, looks rare, maybe just my old, tired eyes....

Angel, someone has tampered with the I. You generally never see a 1st class issued without the second class.

Those are award pages from 2 different Soldbuchs. I used to own the Schmidt SB shown on pages 4 and 6 of this thread. Bought it from another WAF member some years back exactly as you see it the photos. Schmidt was a Hauptmann in charge of a Bau Kompanie made up of Dutch forced labor. No doubt the KVK I entry was tampered with. The KVK award was likely a "II" which was erased and a "I" entered in it's place. Stated as such when I sold it on the e-Stand last year.

As an aside, I have owned Soldbuchs where a soldiers earlier awards such as a KVKII, or EKII were never entered and were fine, but as Jeff points out it is something that is generally not seen.
