    I wonder if it is a captured U.S. Colt .45 M1911A1 ?

Frank Krack, employed by Rock Island Arsenal, was responsible for accepting Colt-Browning pistols refurbished and renumbered for the U.S. Army in 1940–1; these guns were marked "FK"
