    Concentration camp wehrpass

Currently listed on the estand is a wehrpass to a concentration camp guard.
However, one of the entries make me wonder if it's an original or not. Listed on page 12 is his service record, and if you look at the entry on the second line it shows he served at KL Lublin from the 2-5-44 until the 31-7-44? Since KL Lublin was taken over by the Soviets on the 24-7-44 does this entry make any sense?

I doubt he could have served until the 31-7-44 after the soviets took over, then left and continued his career in Flossenburg, so I'm assuming it's a fake wehrpass. (or at the least had extra entries added post war)

Any other opinions as to this wehrpass being right or wrong?

I have a similar one. That was his last post until he started at Flossenburg. That one week of retreat and being reassigned would not be noted.

Totally original , coming from the Flossenbürg Archives ...
When the camps in the eastern part of Germany has been evacuated , the guards have been reassigned .
This Flossenbürg Camp received guards from some various other evacuated camps .
Some more are on the Market !

            Thanks Nick.

I ended up purchasing this wehrpass.......nothing too exciting in it but at least it's a genuine one with a good uniform picture.
All I need to do now is research the owner of it and find out his fate at the end of the war!
I spent all yesterday researching the entries in it, and I'm amazed at how many guards ended up in Flossenburg towards the wars end. A lot of the camp wehrpass I looked at had the final entries at Flossenburg.

I was the seller of this WP. I have two other similar ones and either sold or traded
the 4th one that I had. When asking for advice I believe that it is not appropriate to state that you assume its fake. If it were me I would post the item and ask for opinions. this is the purpose in requesting feedback from possibly more knowledgeable members. I will post a few pages from each Lublin-Flossenburg WP that I have.
              Regards,
              Craig

                          Craig,
I purchased the wehrpass and now you have refunded me the money with no explanation? What's the story?

                            Brett,

I sold this WP too you for at least $100 less than I paid for it. You send a pm to me saying that if you post an item as authentic members will say why its fake and visa versa. Then you post the WP saying that because of the dates you think its fake.

Then you quote "I ended up purchasing this wehrpass.......nothing too exciting in it
but at least it's a genuine one with a good uniform picture.

The irony is it wasn't until three members told you it was good, one member I purchased all four books from and the other I sold or traded one too.
I wish you would have PM me with your concerns and we could have avoided this.

                            Regards,
                            Craig

                              Craig,
I know the book is a good one, however I just had a querie about the date in his service record. Some helpful members explained the date discrepancy so I purchased the book. So much stuff is altered these days it never hurts to get some extra opinions on something I'm not sure of.
I think you've taken my words out of context and the result has been a misunderstanding. I've sent you a PM.

Sorry the sale of the book fell through, however "c'est la vie"
