    Battle of Berlin - Soldbuchs/Wehrpasses

    Hello!

I have been collecting Battle of Berlin related SB/WP for some time.

I would like to see what others have in their collections related to the battle!

Battle of Berlin only - not Seelow, Halbe etc...

    Will be interesting!

Hi Chris, please show your own..!

While i have a few more to those that fought along the Oder, here is the second issue SB to Karl Senst. If anyone has any other paperwork relating to Karl, please let me know..! Sadly, being a zweitschrift issued late 1944 there is very little information in it, but the postcard that came with it tells the whole sad story...

    All the best,
    Mark

        Good thread
I have this one, from a young guy that was in the medical group of the Fallschirm-Flak-Regiment 11, parto of it later renamend Fallschirm-Flak-Abteilung 12 and attached to the 9.FjD. I've found very few infos about this unit, but I thin it took part to the the battle of Berlin

My first addition to this very promising thread.

Here is one of my more interesting Soldbuchs regarding the Battle of Berlin.

I will focus only on his Battle of Berlin related entries otherwise it will go way off topic too fast!

Assistant Artzt Lücke - Was with Panzer Grenadier Div - 'Schlesein' - Stab Under the 18. Infanterie Div.

He won the Iron Cross 2nd Class on the 21st of March 1945 with the above unit!

              He was killed on 22.04.1945

I have been told that he was likely killed/died in the Reserve Laz - Neuköln.

It was situated in the former Kaufhaus Neuköln -

              http://objekte.jmberlin.de/view/obje...84&cid=7845581

Today he rests in a mass grave near Tempelhof Airport

Anymore information with regards to literature, links and so is welcome.

Point to note - The top right Number 318 - I have seen these in the same color pencil for other KIAs. Maybe a KIA Number/Mass Grave Number?

More information - on KLMKsunbunny Soldbuch Senst.

He was likely found according the Document on the S-Bahn line marked in Red.

Note the close proximity to Flakturm Humboldthain!

@Ironcrown - I have found some references to the 9.FD being in Berlin. But location I didnt find anything only for Seelow...

That said there is a German Book on the Division and may shed more light on the specifics of the Divisions Endkampf....

Its available on Ebay Germany... Only in German I think, but worth looking into!
