Does anyone know the meaning of the code written on the right beside the regiment name on page 4 of Heer soldbuch?

For example:

- 1./le Art Ausb Abt (mot) 228 192/44

It is explained as nr.der Kriegs Stammrolle, but exactly what was this code?

Its for the administration.
This meant his name was the 192th entry on the (19)44 roll (kriegsstammrolle) of that unit.
