When offered to me all the troubles were told and price was in correspondence with the situation so no way I say I have been burned or cheated with it, just I want to be sure about the forgeries and show others that you must check all before buying and not throw it away because of them, just keep it and notate the forgeries and enjoy the originals and pay respect for this NCO who pay the last price for defending his homeland.

        Thanks to all

Hi Angel. Tks for your Email regarding this Item. I agree with everything that has been written before, nice book damaged by fake Entries (also the CCS Silber). As I know you are at this time somebit crazy with the 1st.PD., well, if it was not that expensive, then, why not. The "vorlauefiges Besitzzeugnis" send to the Hospital with the printed well-known Stamp from Krueger is 100% original and very interesting. Also the Stamp "abgeschlossen" and the CC-Day list.

I am not you, but If I were, and if you don't already own it, I will search for the EXCELLENT divisional History from Rolf Stoves. 882 Pages !!!! "Die 1.Panzer-Division" published 1961 by Podzun. It will cost you probably between 100 and 200 euros, but it is for you absolutely necessary, believe me.

I agree about all these fake entries and I wonder if in these case a procedure exist to remove them from the pages. Is there any chemical product that can dissolve the ink?
If not, what would be in your opinion the best thing to do? Leave it as is? Cover the bad entries with other ink?

remove fake entries is expensive as must be done by expert, a cousin of mine do it, but for books and paint worth hundred of thousand of euros, I personally add a line to my research and leave as so, just pass it to the next collector if sold with a strong warning of what is fake so no mistakes done.
