the compiler has misspelled the last date 21-5-1943 isntead of 21-5-1944.....

Yes, I caught that error on the date.

It's very interesting to see similar entries from another 305. ID Wehrpaß. Thank you for sharing.

BTW, interesting that a shrapnel wound to the upper leg would prove to be fatal. The only possibility I can see is if the femoral artery were severed...
