    Could it be Alfred Tschimpke - he was Oberleutnant in 1940 and author of

    "Die Gespenster-Division - Mit der Panzerwaffe durch Belgien und Frankreich"

      he was a war correspondent during the war time or only from 1943, before that he was Aufk.Abt. fighter.

        Yes;
        let us alfons troll was affected in the KBG starting 1943 from the beginning of 20.04.1945
        until and not just in 1943
        That's what I meant

            Excellent Soldbuch. Must be quite rare, as I guess most "Kurt Eggers" members got rid of it, when the war ended. Very political soldiers!
