    Total Rubbish?

This was sent from a friend. As an Fj collector it's an area I know nothing about so am asking for help here. Advised him to stay clear but he wanted other opinions. There are more coming, I do not like them either.

    Thanks!

Thanks Alex, that is what I told him with my very limited experience.

            Bogus ID documents

As has been suggested, search the web - there are loads of these emerging for every elite unit and specialist activity. Sharpshooter, close combat, armelband Afrika, etc, etc. They're flooding eBay, though some sellers are identifying them as "repro".

A huge give-away on all of these is first of all the very bad German. And it looks like most of these are all written and signed by the same person.

                    Obvious junk

Many thanks gentlemen. Told my friend this from the beginning but he requested other opinions since these are out of my collecting sphere.

Any ideas where these are produced?

This is the third thread on these in as many weeks... What scares me is the amount one seller on ebay has sold, and the prices they are fetching!

I believe in eastern Europe, and probably in a former Soviet Union state.
Very often there are even german language mistakes in them!

These are made by two Ukrainian guys, who go to fairs around Europe.

I have seen them dealing these at a respectable show in Germany.

Pure rubbish, and I made a point of telling them to wise up!

It is undoubtedly a fake because the German "Umlaut" dots are missing (Beforderungsdatum, Fuhrer, etc.). Furthermore, there are some incorrect spellings, like e.g. Reichsefuherer and Ausmeis.
