schwere Infanterie-Geschütz-Kompanie 706 under 10 Panzer Division....commanded by Hauptmann Stichtenoth ....he was Kp.Chef of 13 (I.G.) Kp, Infanterrie Regiment 74.

"schwere Infanteriegeschütz-Kompanie; mot.S 701-706 were assigned to the 1st, 2nd, 5th, 7th, 9th, and 10th Panzer divisions for the Battle of France and Operation Barbarossa. The 705th and 706th were destroyed during Barbarossa."

Thanks Ian, you know when 706 was destroyed? Attached to his Soldbuch are battle calendar from Poland till December 21st, 1941 so I wonder if it was around that date when he was disbanded and then send to Africa.

      Thanks again.
