Producing repo and fake Erkennungsmarke seems to be a rapidly increasing and thriving business transitioning to mass production. These are from the Czech Republic, and they are being legitimately sold as reproductions. There may be unlimited variations. The disc stamping and type faces seem more plausible than most (or look that way to me), other than some abrading. So how long before the usual suspects age them in acidic manure and then these can reappear as "dug" items or items from "an old collection"?
