DRK ausweis question

Good morning all,

I have seen DRK ausweis's with the information typed via typewriter, and written in by hand. Are both of these styles accurate? Is there a reason they would have typed vs. hand written? Any information is greatly appreciated!

There were many types of documents that could be either typed or handwritten.

Not every clerk had a typewriter. The ink stamps and signatures were what was used to authenticate these at the time. Not whether they were typewritten or not.
