Original Wehrpass with original Entries .
There's some on the market , most of them being in the Flossenbürg Camp on May 1945 .

What is with the Inf Ers Batl 213 entry on page 12?

This is the third SS wehrpass I have seen with this in it, not all from Flossenburg.

Infanterie Ersatz Battalion 213, a feeder unit to 73 Division which in January 1945 was on the Vistula. Perhaps a raking of the camp staff into the Replacement Army? No hits for this guy on the Volksbund site so he's not a known casualty. And also no sign of him on the Consolidated War Criminals Lists. Hopefully the Russians finished him off.

most of the bad job was done using foreign volunteers.

It makes no sense for men from random SS units ending up in an army replacement unit.

Also no date or roll is entered either with the Heer entry.

Note also at this point Himmler was commander of Army Group Vistula. I don't know, all we have is the fact that a number of wehrpass docs show camp staff being assigned to that feeder unit. It may be that they were assigned there to complete infantry training as I am sure killing starving prisoners didn't impart the skills necessary to fight Ivan.

Are you talking about the savagery of Prinz Eugen in the Balkans? Or about Brownings findings? I have read both this book and Goldhagens and to be frank and not to get off topic but I believe the clean hands myth has been well and truly buried by both.

                              SS wehrpass Auschwitz

I have a list off the Personal Auschwitz I & II but this person is not on that list there are also the names off all the camp guards so a little doubt off it's originality

There are several wehrpasses like these and always the photo is glued and not stapled what is the reason off that is this a little red flag

I have seen several glued wehrpassphoto's in the wehrpasses and the most off them where fake ones so any opinion off other forum members about this one
