In my opinion, this is a fine, later war, zinc example for Grenadier Regiment 20 (motorized). Interesting for this stage of the war to see a dogtag to a field regiment and not a replacement unit.

Do you know any history about them or where they served.

It took me a while but found the information as far as who they were with and where they served. The were attached to the 10th Panzer Grenadier Division at the battle of Kursk in July of 1943 and fought the rest of the war on the Eastern Front until there surrender in Czechoslovakia at the end of the war.
