Hello can anyone provide details of this unit the guy was in it from 16.3.43.-27.1.44. Then from 28.1.44-17.5.44 when he went to Auflk-Abt.85. he was missing on the 18.5.44. I believe he was in Gebrigs-jager, as he started of in Geb.Jag Nachr.Ers.Kp 139 Klagenfurt.His last rank was Wachtmeister. Sorry I can't provide scans my scanner is playing up. Any help is appreciated.

Schnelle Abteilung 95

Formed 18.3.1943 in WK XVIII (1 Panzerjäger Kompanie, 2 Radfahr Schwadron, 3 schwere Schwadron, 4 Fla Kompanie); 23.12.1943 divided into Aufklärungs Abteilung 85 (Stab, 2., 3. Kp) and Panzerjäger Abteilung 85 (1., 4. Kp.).

Under: 5. Gebirgs-Division
Replacement unit: 2 (Aufklärung) Windischgrätz, WK XVIII

Schnelle Abteilung 95

Aufgestellt am 18. März 1943 für die 5 Gebirgs Div. Am 23. Dezember 1943 wurde die Abteilung in die Aufklärungs-Abteilung 85 und in die Panzerjäger-Abteilung 85 geteilt.

This fits in with the info you already have

Thanks to the both of you, Can I ask was this unit in Italy or near Cassino? he was vermisst-17.5.44 I think this is where he was missing when he was in Aukl.Abt.85
