They look original, but you'll need to post more pictures for a good evaluation. They look at first glance to be standard issue books, without much potential for "interesting" entries. But - more pix are needed.

he is most probably a WWI veteran and these are only interesting if his unit is unusual or he was highly decorated (assuming it is entered in the Wehrpaß!). If you only have a basic Wehrpaß for an older person this has little value (in Germany you can often pick these up for Euro 10-20 as nobody really wants them)Comment

Page 5 shows he was fit for labour service only as Landsturm II which means he is between the ages of 45 - 55 and was untrained.

I agree.
Every german male in the age range for military service received a Wehrpass.
Considering its age, he did not see much action in WW2 unless he was an officer.Comment

He didn't see any WWI service as stated above....he is in the category for untrained so has received no military training at all.
