So as requested here is the first of two scans for the tags you selected.
About "Re-read" - please you "re-read" my post #8)))))
Your 263 tag - not standard and not usual. Therefore I had questions. If you at once have shown a good photo - there would be no this unpleasant dialogue on 3 pages!)))))
Ok! Many thanks for your photos and concessions. My doubts were erroneous.

I must provide an apology to all who have been involved and viewed this thread. I consider myself a man of my word but at times have to be reminded that not everyone believes a story even a true one.

Jim,
I appreciate you chiming in and probably some folks out there may think I asked you to do so which I didn't but you are right. I said it before there is always someone else out there that has doubts. You and I and Jim Haley know the truth as we have found items like these tags in the ground on the Kasernes that we worked on for many years. It's a shame really as I always got excited finding stuff where I worked as a soldier and Civilian and contributed to the memories of being stationed there. I only wanted to share it. I'm going to stick with just posting my photo collection. For me I consider this thread closed because I have nothing further to contribute.

I guess the Germans started faking stuff on May 8 1945 and buried it in order to confuse the collecting world, which would lead to a total collapse of our belief system and allow the 4th Reich to rise from the ashes. No wonder people are hesitant to post stuff on the WAF.
