FJ Wehrpass - help in reading

    Gentlemen,

I need the help in reading of these pages of the WP (record by hand).
    I correctly read a name - Höntze Karl ...?
Possibly in Volksbund there is information about him?

    Thanks.
    Igor.

Bottom pic: (I trust you can read the dates)
    - Security in occupied portions of Luftflottenkommando 3
    - Operations in Russland, defensive battles in the Middle Front

I checked www.leo.de (my go-to site for words I don't know), and it shows it could be wagon-maker, plumber, tin-smith, or (best of all!) "panel beater".

I'd hazard a guess at plumber & installer apprentice.

            And that's an old-fashioned German "I", not a "J".

            best
            Hank

Hank is very close to the interpretation.

"Inst. Lehrling" means "Installateur - Lehrling - plumber & installer apprentice as Hank meant.

                    Addendum

You did not ask for this, but maybe it is of interest to you:
Gefreiter Karl Höntze was killed in action during an assault on Aleksejewka on 15.21943, his unit was 5. Kompanie (II. Bataillon), Fallschirmjäger Regiment 1. The attack did cost the lives of at least 26 of his comrades among them his company commander.

He belonged to the same Kompanie as my Uncle. My Uncle ended up suffering from savers frost bite in Russia at that time. I think my Uncle was also awarded his iron cross second class during that time as well.
