Wehrpass Uffz. Wilhelm Pellkofer more info

    Hello,

At the fair this year at Ciney i've bought this Wehrpass from Uffz. Wilhelm Pellkofer (date of birth 12-03-1893 in München). The Wehrpass came with 2 photo's and a protective pouch.

There was a little note with this wehrpass that says in german:

    Eintritt 30. November 1943
    6. (Ln.Ers.)/Lg.Nach.Rgt.7/Ausburg
    später u.a. 2./Luftnacher-Rgt. (mot) 12

Can some one maybe tell if there are more interesting things about this wehrpass. I am quite new in söldbucher and Wehrpassen. And i would like to learn more

Here are some pictures (only from the filled in pages):

Hi ! To be honest, hard to speak about "interesting Entries". For me none... The only unusual Point for this "Grand'pa" (Uffz der Landsturm) is that these guys were often sent back Home 1941 or 42, and your Guy served until the end of the War, that's not common. The Entries campaign are often "generic" and the obscure Units he served in where probably never engaged in any combats. Perhaps has anybody a better Feeling, but well, IMO a 30,00 euros WP, not more

Well, he was a little old (50) to be called up in 1943 and not be a "prior service" officer. The men were generally kept in the Wehrünberwachung until age 45. The "einheit" listed on page 21 were all for signal specialties, which makes sense, since he served with signal units.
