    Hi Acidinges,

Per Jäger Blatt 1/2001, he rammed a B-17 in the Schwarmstedt area, on 7 April, 1945, and bailed after doing so.
Taken to a Schwarmstedt hospital for treatment.
Later served as a Transport pilot.

    Best regards

If the same guy as Eric-Jan mentions then the Wehrpass holder was a Feldwebel with Iron Cross 1st and 2nd class?

        Archiv Marktscheffel shows :

Fw. Theo de Bruyn : 1 B-17 gerammt.

Although here spelled as Theo and the Wehrpaß shows Teo, I am sure that it is the same pilot, de Bruyn (more a Dutch name, including his father's first name Teunis) is not such a common name in Germany.

        Best regards

        Eric-Jan

I think the name of the Sonderkommando was Elbe, like the river

Elbe, not Elba like the island.
