    ID-disc help: '3./P.53'

    Hello,

I found a really nice Erkennungsmarke with original cord and Crucifix attached. It is marked with '3./P.53', but I need some help with this. For which unit is this the abbreviation?

    Thank you!
    Jim

Tthat's the only thing I could find as well.

Since this unit was located only 10kms from my town I've just withdrawn this dog-tag from my webshop and will keep it for my own collection for now.... to be sure.

      Thanks, Jim

Confirmed. Panzerjäger-Abt.53, it is not the first time I see dog-tags or even SB-Entries or Awards documents only abbreviated as "P". 100% sure. Lionel.

              Okay. Thanks

Then it can go back in the inventory.

              Regards, Jim
