A boring soldbuch...or not?

I need your help here:
Is this correct or i am completely wrong?

This guy was with landeschutzen batl 1006 from june 1944.It was stationed in Bar le Duc(France) at this time.
Last two awards we can see with the stamp of this bataillon(17529) could be EK2 and black wound badge? (Hospital pages are empty)
So...could these medals have been won fighting in France in 1944?

Russian Front and War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords.....then followed by EK II and Wound Badge in Black, however they appear to have been made from an order dated 17.5.1940 and were awarded during WW I.....12.6.1916 and 19.7.1918.

FP Nr. 17529 B belonged to 1 Kompanie, Landesschützen-Bataillon 1006.

Yes,i see now the dates at the left side.Both medals were won in ww1.
