It is actually a list of close combat days, with assault days (Sturmtage) written to the top next to his name Gefreiter Ropers?....3 days counting for an Assault Badge.

it came with i a b in silver and black wound badge is this the entry for wound badge??

Still not sure of the layout of Soldbücher yet!

That is page 3 confirming his promotion on 4.11.1944 whilst serving with Stab III (Jäger) Bataillon, Grenadier Regiment 17.

His awards should be on page 22 if he has any....subsequenst awards could be on page 22a or 21 and even other pages if he has plenty!

Could be or glued in...could have come loose or never been glued in! I have examples that are glued in, loose or on a seperate piece of paper A4 or even A5 in size!

a great help it was in the back of the book.it came with black wound badge.and iab.on page 22 is entry for iab.just had a look at hosp entry looks like.a35.and looks like half.thanks again
