Thanks for sharing this with us, its surprising at times what you do find in the back of Sb's & WP's isn't it. I found an SS driving licence in the back of one once!!Regards

These exempt the holder from military service for whatever the reason....I have one somewhere with the photo of the holder in Heer uniform! Although it states he is exempt from military service he was actually unfit for frontline service after being wounded in France during 1940 and remained in the army!!! He actually served on the Staff of his local Wehrbezirks Kommando.
