A late Zweitschrift from november 1944, without photo. The content is historically IMO not so interesting as many SB's between 100 and 1000 euros. But well, it belonged to Hartmann, and you have enough People not interested by the History, but only to say "I own the SB from Hartmann". I mean it is mostly an excellent marketing § Communication for the Auctionsite.... there are nowadays so many trying to find their place on the market !

I am with Lionel in this, historically, no price collecting point not too much, I prefer an infantryman one full of entries than this, it gives us more fun than this second replacement, but is just a matter of my opinion versus other collectors, if I have 20.000 Euros to spend in the collection I will not choose to buy it, if I have a million, maybe, just to say I have the Soldbuch of the greatest ace.

I know that the new owner will enjoy his purchase.

Looking for DKiG Heer winner Soldbuch who also won the TDB and/or CCC, specially in Silver.

I was offered this in 2003 ......I seem to remember it was £10,000 then but it didn't do absolutely anything for me....so of course passed on the purchase.

Indeed, would have been my reaction as well.... not worth the bump it would have put in my collecting budget.

Unfortunately there are folks out there that earn this in a couple of weeks... Their pockets are waaay deeper....

              Get in Line!! ;-)

So long as there are people paying EUR12 000 for firstclass airline tickets for 10 hour flights... there will be people to whom 20 000 is just pocket money... and they will spend it like a normal person spends 200 ;-)

A stunning object for sure, too bad the original picture is missing.
I'm curious about the result it will fetch.

....tell you what Ian I can understand that it seems some how sanitised and lacks the character of a well worn and carried Soldbuch....if you know what I mean

Everything related to the greatest ace in history will fetch top dollar. I am willing to bet it will go for 30k+. I wouldnt pay it, i am waiting for the Rudel grouping to come on the market
