Two Pics of same person??? or not.

I have this soldbuch coming of an Infantry Feldwebel who fought in the Battle of the Bulge, and surrended to the US forces.

While watching a film on the battle I came across these Germans troops surrendering to the US, and saw this guy who looks very similar.
I took a still from the film for comparison.
Do you think it's the same person?

I will say they are pretty similar. Maybe the person on the right has a bigger nose but that could be camera angle. As usual anything is possible and we will never know. But if it is either a clear yes or no. I will say yes! Kudos to your keen eyes!

Face shown in pic on the left shaped longer and he has a different shaped mouth than the face on the right.

actually the more I look at it the more I think it probably isn't him,
some definite likeness though.
