    Wehrpass entries needing deciphering

HI all, calling on your expertise again please.

Recently picked up this wehrpass to an army guy that on the face of it transferred to the luftwaffe.

I attach 3 scans of pages which I believe are flight school training and death notice in a flight accident.

Any info will be much appreciated as always.

    Thanks in advance.

I would like to add the missing word: "...Nachrichten - Staffelführer".

Hi all and thank you for your input.

My german ain't that great but I am assuming that Flugzeugführer is flight/flying leader - if that is the case then surely he should have earned the pilots badge as a minimum.

Also, does the entry from the 12.7.43 refer to a flight accident (fatal) ?

It actually says that he was killed in Lemberg (Lviv). He is in the WASt.

Hi Risto and thanks for the update, having a blond moment but what is the WASt and do you know (as the last owner) where the entry for the pilots badge is (as you know I only picked it up yesterday and was very tired when I got home).

Thanks again for all your assitance.

I guess that Flugzeugführer entry on page 21 would be the indication for being entitled to Flugzeugführer badge..?
