Page 32 Waffen SS Wehrpass Help

    Wehrpass warriors,

I need some help with the entries on page 32 of a Waffen SS Wehrpass.

First: This soldier was supposed to have fought in Italy, Czech Republic. and Russia, according to family oral history. I see Russia and France, but where was he serving in the first entry doing security operations?

Second: I think I'm reading he was is the 2nd Panzer Grenadier Regiment, LAH. Can anyone make out the full unit designation?

I really appreciate the help on this.

    s/f Robert

"Sicherung des besetzten .... Frankreich".....this means "securing the occupied France". So nothing to do with security operations.
    Next is" "Einsatz in Russland".

I just can't figure the last remaining word in that first entry though. Would be nice to get more help here!

          Dutch and Marcel,

Thank you very much, I appreciate the time to look the page over and provide translation support. Any swag in what that first entry would translate to in English?

As far as the unit - it looks like their is a detachment / element name in front of the 2nd Pz Gdr Rgt title - can anyone confirm the unit?

          s/f Robert
