This just came from the proverbial "woodwork"...
Hauptmann Max Loges. Served in MG-Bataillone 16 (319.ID) and then in Grenadier-Regiment 916 (352.ID)... Grenadier-Regiment 916 unit stamp has been modified with pen, but there is a 352.ID entry on page 8. Award page has been removed.
He was wounded in 19.7.1944 (Kriegslazarett 4.677? and wound code 31b)
Loges is mentioned few times in "Normandiefront: D-Day to Saint-Lo Through German Eyes". He was not one of the heroes...
Any ideas regarding where Hauptmann Loges was on June 6th 1944?
