    What about the photo.........

    Gentlemen,

In my humble opinion a postwar newly added pass-photo.

    http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=781870

I asked him to add an update to his sales thread about the pass-photo problem but the seller plays deaf and dumb.

    So up for discussion here.

    Best regards

    Eric-Jan

    Very probably you are right!
Of course some extra pic would help to be sure, like a detail of the photo itself and a scan of page 1.

      Agree 100%

Although, IMO not done to deceive since it adds zero to the value.

Not exactly.....as a Wehrpaß with a photo is more sellable than one without!

With that said, and we may never know....it could be the original holder that he or a family member stuck a photo in.......however to me it looks more like a photo from the 50's!

I have a couple of Wehrpässe with other items that clearly show the photo is that of the holder but the original photo has been replaced...why?

Hello there, sorry but I have not received any PM's from you Eric-Jan so I refute your statement of me being 'deaf and dumb' - if the opinion of the WAF is that it's 'bad' then no problem I shall remove from the e-stand.
