    SS Wehrpass Opinions

    Hello,

I was wondering if I could get some opinions on this one. I am very sorry if this is an obvious fake because I really don't know anything about these. I have a bad feeling about it anyways so I just wanted to know if I am on the right track.

    Thank you in advance!
    Chris G.

            Wehrpass

            Hello,
the first both entries to Flossenbürg are original entries. The entries to Auschwitz seem to be rather forgeries.

              Auschwitz

I must briefly apologize. In my documents sees just which was Ullrich also in Auschwitz. Thus everything really.

                Hi Chris,

Why do you apologize yourself for showing the Wehrpaß.
Original or not, that is not a reason to say sorry.

In my humble opinion there is no need for a bad feeling.
The pages / entries that you do show us are looking original to me.

Member Potsdam did check the guy, and the man's "career" seems to be original.

Information from the previous owner Peter.

"Typical early-wartime Camp staff, I have from a Wehrpass with a good quality mug-shot, uniform, wearing Totenkopf collar patch & Uscha rank patch, WW1 ribbon bar shown).
                SS-Uscha Carl August Ullrich.
                Born 16.4.1891. Served WW1 front line, EK2, joined SS-Totenkopfverbande pre-war, staff at Flossenburg 22.7.1940 to 12.12.1943, then Auschwitz 13.12.43 to Jan 45.

I havent yet checked if Ullrich was tried post-war but he was more typical of pre-war staff"

Chris, thank you for showing us that Wehrpaß.

                Best regards

                Eric-Jan

I didn't even realize that it said Auschwitz...what an idiot I look like. I thought it was just a TK WP...

This is so cool...I told the owner that I would buy it. What a cool piece of history to have...

Why is this Wehrpass in such great condition? Is it because he wasnt a front line soldier?

Also, how can I get more information on him? I have looked all over the internet but I cant find anything else on him. Is there a database for the workers at the camps?

                          Thank you,
                          Chris G.

                            Chris,

He didn't have the Wehrpaß himself, it was kept by the administration.

                            Best regards

                              Hey Eric,

Yah I knew that they only have the soldbuch but I am surprised that there isnt more writing in it. But it seems that he didnt move around too much and wasnt a front line soldier.

                              Regads,
                              Chris G.
