ID Disk Nachrichtenhelferin

Hello,

This is a part of a Nachlass to a married couple. I thought I would share a picture of the Nachrichtenhelferin cufftitle and ID Disk of Frau T.E.

Her husband served with the staff of the 357. Inf anterie Division and since she was listening to and forwarding on the radio and telefone traffic of the OKW she was able to warn her husband of the Soviet advances in Hungary in November / December 1944. The stories she has told me about her time at the OKW are very interesting and certainly a unique perspective coming from a Nachrichtenhelferin.

Her dogtag was issued by the "Heeresschule für Nachrichtenhelferinnen" in Gießen.
