Panzer dogtag ID please?

Can anyone make out what this says and what unit it is for? I know very little of these and any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

There was no Panzer Regiment 5 in german army in WWII.

IMO it is a fake. Look at the big breaking-line-slit.
It could be one of the austria blanks.

I dont understand.... This tag (I dont like it to) is not Pz Rgt. 5 but 4 !

My mistake.

But it isn't from Panzer Regiment 4.
Look at the "E" between "Pz" and "Rgt".
It means Ersatz, but there was no Pz Ersatz Regiment 4 in tje german Army.

It is a bad fakers mistake.

You are right of course I dont see the E of Ersatz !

It also shows heavy signs of aging and yet there is no sign it was ever worn. Agree a poor substitute.

Dependless on the unit marking this tag is a fake.
